As Chartered Surveyors, we are often asked to provide our opinion on market rental and market values, on assets that clients hold.
On this occasion, the clients required an appraisal of both for internal decision making purposes. We were able to give them guidance and enabled them to make informed decisions, and pick their next course of action.
They came back to request we under the marketing of the asset as a freehold sale because they had been satisfied with our professional and personable approach to them and their property.
After a period of marketing and several viewings, an acceptable offer was made and taken forward to the stage of solicitors.
Unfortunately, the process was delayed by several months, and the clients were concerned. We were proactive in chasing up the buyer and their solicitor, to ensure that there was no behind-the-scenes catastrophy.
When completion finally took place, the clients were delighted to have one less thing to worry about! We were also pleased it had crossed the finish line too.
