Life cannot be more full circle than this moment for director Sau-Wan Lai as we celebrate the recent letting to Language Specialists International at 2-2a Isambard Brunel Road, Portsmouth.
Acting on behalf of our landlord client, we successfully let their upper floors to a well established local language school LSI Portsmouth / International House who moved from Lord Montgomery Way to Isambard Brunel Road. This was more heartfelt and special to Sau as a letting because she had her Work Experience in Year 10 at the original building with previous owners of the business.
Sau said “This experience in Year 10 lead to wonderful summers of working alongside amazing teachers, international students on work experience too, as well as interacting with the multitude of cultures of the various students.
I was thoroughly lucky to have this steadfast summer admin job for well past school, college and university days, and was even there when I landed my shadowing with the now late Vic Ray much missed mentor and friend. The language school changed ownerships and I of course, moved on into other firms before setting up Wheeler & Lai Chartered Surveyors.”
So with transparency and ensuring full disclosure, our landlord client was still happy for us to negotiate the best deal.
Life is funny, how it comes full circle, work experience then to my role now and being able to help LSI relocate to new premises for their next intake of students.
