Our Director Sau-Wan Lai volunteers as a committee member for the Portsmouth Property Association in her spare time. What is the Portsmouth Property Association (PPA) and what does it mean to be a member, committee member and webmaster? Read on to find out.
Recently, Sau-Wan gave a short presentation to members and the local charities that the Portsmouth Property Association are supporting this year. It was an opportunity to practice public speaking, to meet the charities and for members to find out a little more about what’s been updated on the website and how they can benefit from social media activities.
Sau-Wan volunteers to update the PPA website, as committee member to attend events and to shout about what the PPA represents. The PPA are a professional body of property experts, and there is a committee that reviews memberships, and criteria for membership means that the PPA upholds professional standards and ensure that firms are trustworthy and has integrity. It gives the public confidence in a firm that is a PPA member, and enables other member firms to refer clients to one another, as a trusted network of property professionals.
The members serve the local community of Portsmouth and it’s surround communities, and comprises of solicitors, surveyors, estate agents, and other property professionals.
On the 4th March, we heard great presentations from 4 local charities at the Portsmouth Property Association after work networking event.
