One of our directors, Rebecca Wheeler, has been supporting the Young Enterprise team at St Catherines College, for the fourth consecutive year. Rebecca has volunteered her time as a business advisor, guiding the enthusiastic students through their business ventures.
This year, Rebecca has been assisting with a delightful initiative called “Tummy Tickle Treats”. She’s had the pleasure of watching the students grow, not only in their business but also in their confidence and teamwork skills. Rebecca shares, “I thoroughly enjoyed supporting St. Catherine’s College and their business, Tummy Tickle Treats. It’s truly inspiring to see how brilliantly the team works together, and the growth in the students’ confidence and skills over the year is wonderful to witness. They inspire me more than they know.” The team kindly treated Rebecca to a delicious ice-cream, personalised card and T-Shirt with image of Rebecca’s dog, Molly.
You can find “Tummy Tickle Treat” products for sale at their school charity shop in Ventnor and also at the Donkey Sanctuary shop in Wroxall valley on the Isle of Wight. Thank you to Susan McCall CEO of IW Donkey Sanctuary- the teams enjoyed pitching their business products to you and are delighted some of their products are on display in the shop.
St Catherine’s is a national charity working with children and young people with speech, language and communication disabilities. As well as providing a specialist school and further education centre, they offer community learning and outreach for mainstream schools and other voluntary organisations.
