Portsmouth and Isle of Wight based Wheeler and Lai Chartered Surveyors are celebrating their fifth anniversary this week. In a male-dominated surveying industry, the company’s two female founders are “proud” to have reached the milestone.
Over the years, Wheeler and Lai Chartered Surveyors have grown into a prominent player in the commercial surveying industry across Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Through dedication to clients and pursuit of customer service excellence, the founders have successfully exceeded initial expectations.
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) states that only 18% of chartered surveyors are female.
Rebecca Wheeler, Co-Founder of Wheeler and Lai, said: “We are in an incredibly male-dominated industry, so to have two women own a commercial surveying company is extremely rare. We are so proud of how far we’ve come and what we still have yet to accomplish.”
